Remote students are responsible for the cost of forwarding mail and packages that the USPS does not accept. Other mail and packages will be refused or returned to the sender when possible. Only forwardable mail sent via the USPS will be sent on to students studying remotely. If you must stuff boxes, please email a request to and we will work with you to schedule a time that keeps the mailroom under occupancy limits. Once admissibility is determined, funds are distributed until the financial aid budget has been exhausted. 77 of students in the Class of 2020 received some form of financial aid, demonstrating Bryn Mawr’s substantial commitment. Groups and offices are discouraged from using boxes to distribute all-campus mailings during the 2020-2021 school year please find other ways to communicate with students. Bryn Mawr College is need-sensitive with respect to admission. Only cash or personal checks will be accepted for payment Stamp sales and other mail services are available at the mailroom window. Window service is available 10:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays during the school year. Please wait for our message with the subject "the BMC mailroom has received a package for you." (Do not rely on messages sent by Amazon and other online sellers.) When packages arrive for students, we send an email as soon as they have been processed and are ready for pickup. Letter mail and magazines are placed into mailboxes. Mail and packages are usually sorted and ready for pickup within one business day. Your box assignment does not change while you remain a BMC student. Remote students will receive box assignments when they switch to in-person. Boxes have been assigned to all new students who are coming to campus. New students can find their box assignment in BIONIC. Please be sure to follow this format exactly, including the "C-" before the box number. (But if you apply for financial aid from the outset, even if you don’t initially qualify to get any, then you still are eligible in future years to apply for financial aid and get it if you qualify for any in future years.) However, Bryn Mawr was fabulous in the experience of my daughter who attended it, so I would not let this dissuade you from applying just know that if you have high financial need, that may reduce your chances of admission unless that is counterbalanced by whatever else you bring to Bryn Mawr insofar as the students they need/desire.All student mail and packages should be addressed as follows: So your financial need (or lack thereof) is very much considered and factored into the admissions decisions, and you are unable to “game” it by somehow not applying for financial aid initially and then paying for your initial year of attendance without financial aid but then thinking you might get any financial aid in your later years of attendance. 101 N Merion Ave Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania 19010 (GPS address: 816 New Gulph Road) Phone: (610) 526-5323. Bryn Mawr is need-sensitive (NOT need-blind) …and if you do not apply for financial aid as an entering student, you will not be eligible for financial aid in any of later years of attendance either (even if your financial circumstances change). I have kids with recent experience with Bryn Mawr one who attended (and worked in the admissions office part-time) and one who applied/was accepted but chose another college in the end.
